ORCA is Proud to Participate in the 2025 ExtraGive!
We’re excited to announce that the Organization for the Responsible Care of Animals (ORCA) is once again part of ExtraGive, Lancaster County’s largest day of community giving!
On November 21, 2025, our community will come together to support the causes they care about most. When you support ORCA during ExtraGive, you help us continue our mission of providing 24/7 emergency assistance to animals who are injured, ill, or in distress across Lancaster County.
We’re also pleased to invite you to an Open House at ORCA headquarters from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on the day of the event.
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about our lifesaving work, see our operations, and speak with a few ORCA representatives who will be available throughout the day.

Emergency rescue and transport
Medical exams, treatments, and critical veterinary care for rescued animals
Transport of injured or ill wildlife to licensed rehabilitation centers
Staff costs that keep our trained responders available day and night
Compassionate care for animals who have no one else to help
Every donation—big or small—helps save lives and covers essential medical bills and staff support that make our lifesaving work possible.
