Small Mammals

Mabel

With us since: May 2024

Mabel was most likely abandoned and was on the run in the wild for at least 5 days before she was able to be captured. She had many ticks around her neck and ears and wounds from ones that had already fallen off. Luckily, she was otherwise okay. She received a wound healing spray to help the wounds from the ticks and everything cleared up well. Mabel will need sometime to warm up to a new person. We believe she has a hard trying to trust people after what happened to her. She still will come up to us and is friendly, but if she doesn’t like something, she will let you know. We hope to find someone who will be patient with her and give her the space and love she needs. Mabel is approx 2 years old.

Rocco

Rocco was found dumped in Lancaster County Park. His teeth were overgrown and was very underweight. He is doing great now and is enjoying time in his foster home. He has lots of bunny friends to hang around with! Rocco is male.

Winston

Winston was found with his buddy Schmidt (since adopted!) along the side of the road. He is a very lovable bunny, who likes being held. He is very sweet and has been enjoying his foster home and bunny friends there. Winston is male.

Cats & Kittens

Luna

With us since: September 2023

Luna is an approx. 4 year old, male cat. Luna came to us with reported bowel issues, but we did not observe any. Since being in our care, Luna has developed urinary issues. He is prone to crystals in his urine so he is now required to be on a special urinary care food for the rest of his life. (We will be sending some food home with him!!!) He is doing so well on his new diet. He is very laid back and sweet! He loves belly rubs and to be pet. We often find him laying in the sun, belly up. He does fine with the other cats but isn't very playful. He just likes to hang out, especially in a window or on one of the perches in the office. He would make a great, quiet companion to keep someone company. Luna is fully vaccinated and neutered.

Bonnie

With us since: June 2024

Bonnie came to us with a severe upper respiratory infection. This required over a month of strong antibiotics, but she has now recovered and is doing great. Bonnie is very spunky and playful. She loves to play with the other kittens. She also loves to nap in the kitty hammocks and relax. Bonnie is approx. 1 year old, fully vaccinated and spayed.

Autumn

With us since: September 2024

Autumn came to us with an upper respiratory infection. She was treated and everything cleared up well and she is healthy now. Autumn is a little shy but very sweet once she opens up to people. She has no trouble getting along with the other kittens, and is usually wrestling with one of them. She also loves the laser toy at the office. Autumn is approx. 10 months old, fully vaccinated and spayed.

Bibi

With us since: December 2024

Bibi came to us with her right eye ruptured, and very infected. She was seen at Red Rose Pet Care where Dr. Shah was able to do an eye enucleation and clean up some of the infection. The incision healed beautifully and shes has been doing great! Bibi is very shy and skiddish still. She has slowly come out of her shell and has been more playful with toys and the other cats at the office. She will take time to warm up to new people. She has never shown an aggression, just doesn’t fully trust humans yet. She will need a patient owner, quieter environment and another cat in the house would help her feel comfortable. We believe Bibi would be best in a home with no dogs or small children. Bibi is spayed, fully vaccinated, and approx. 1 year old.

Sour Patch

With us since: December 2024

Sour Patch lives up to her name..... sour then sweet, we're just working on the sweet part a little still. Sour Patch came to us with a limp and possible broken, front leg. Luckily, this was not the case and it was most likely just sprained. The limp is gone and she can run just like the other cats now! Sour Patch is still learning to trust humans. You can pet her, if you are slow and patient. She just started to let us pet her a little longer then she would tolerate before. She loves to play with the other cats and the toys around the office! She would do well in a home with other cats, but without dogs and small children. Consider giving this girl a chance! Sour Patch is spayed, fully vaccinated, and approx. 7 months old.

Dove

With us since: January 2025

Dove came to us in distress from labor complications. She had her babies at PET Emergency, and unfortunately 4 were stillborn and her remaining baby passed away a few days later. She has shown some signs on depression, but is slowly feeling more like herself. She is a little guarded with new people, but wants attention and love and comes to the staff willingly. She will need someone who is patient with her and earn her trust. Dove does well with the other cats and has not been very playful yet, but with time we could see her being open and playful with other cats and with toys. Dove is approx. 1 year old, spayed and fully vaccinated.

Simba

With us since: December 2024

Simba came to us thin and weak. He’s an older boy, so we ran blood work as well to make sure he had no underlying issues. Luckily, it was clear so we just started to monitor his food intake. He needs wet food a couple times a day (along with dry) to help keep his weight up! He is doing very well and is back to a healthy weight. Simba loves attention. He is very affectionate and loves people. He does well with other cats. We usually find Simba curled up in a cozy spot or in the window watching what’s going on. Simba is approx. 10 years old, neutered and fully vaccinated.

Chester

With us since: February 2025

Chester came to us with a limp in his right, back leg. Luckily, there were no breaks or fractures and after some cage rest, the limp was gone! Chester is a sweet boy who needs a lot of patience and time to open up. He wants love and attention, but is very nervous around people. He is often hiding but has started coming out more and more. He just needs a calm family that will give him time and space to open up! He does well with other cats. Because of how nervous he is, Chester would do best in a home without dogs or small children. Chester is approx. 1 year old, fully vaccinated and neutered.
